You are part of the presentation

Realize that you are part of the presentation. What you are wearing. That piece of art hanging on the wall behind you. The lighting of the room. Are you looking at your audience in the eye or staring into the lense of a camera?
All factors play a role in the experience that you will be delivering. Some of those things are in your control… some aren’t.
We often forget that YOU are one of the most important aspects of your presentation. What makes you you must be considered as part of the design of your presentation.
What kind of sense of humour do you have? Do you ramble? Are you a nervous wreck? What is your favourite way to explain concepts? Story-telling and anolgies? Drawing it out?
Play with that. Use it to your advantage!
You uniqueness will be your greatest asset in captivating your audience.
